Been here several times before and cancer a cruel disease.

My girlfriends granddad has cancers caged and removed regularly- I like the guy and I have told her to enjoy the time she has.

I'm worried she can't see how short the time she has is:(

Told her money doesn't matter-enjoy your time, but she won't accept it.

Comes out with grandad has always been there:doh:

My granddad slowly going same way. :(

Few things bring me close to tears-but watching 9 months of someone terminally ill and dying made me cry (only human)
Few things that hurt like hell

hed hung himself in his dads garage behind the house if only id answered the fone

Guys... you and yours have my full sympathy.

Have lost an Uncle, cousin and nearly lost my father too. My brother in law lost both parents in the space of three years. Horrible horrible disease which doesnt have any respect for age/gender/health etc....

My daughter (she's 10) has a lad in her school class, who's being slowly eaten away by some form of tumour on the brain. Brave brave lad and his parents too and fair play to them for trying to continue as normally as possible..... Have to admit, I've shed a few tears when my littl'un (the other kids don't know how ill he really is ) tells me about him...

Totally agree with you Fanatic - as best you can, feck the expense and enjoy every possible moment.

These things kinda put everything else into perspective.
