Hello people, Im new to this game. The 110 i bought last week being the first 4x4 ive owned.

The project:::

Sooooo a few things i have planned for it, i want to restore her to former glory (she's in pretty good shape as is except for the pictures ive posted in another post, please view and answer my rusty questions).

Once nice and tidy, the next step is to convert into a twin cab, yes this may be Blasphemy... but for as long as i can remember ive wanted one, but could never afford one.

Once converted the next step is, i will remove the interior (and windows) and get her sprayed £500 + VAT at a local place (without bartering ;) )

Then get the second set of off road rims, a bar, rock sliders, back bars powder coated. Then get a roll bar and we're done.

Finally, get all the extra lights, horns, and radio connect and the winch and various other bits polished. Ending with one shiny monster.

I may be being optimistique but i think i can do it.

Obviously before all of the above im taking her to muddy bottom in the new forest for a few dirty weekends with her. ;)

Welcome to the mad house.

I see you've got plans to spend a few bob on your new toy. You might want to think about setting aside a bit of cash at the outset for improving the security of your vehicle. Otherwise you could end up blinging your LR up for the local scroats to take advantage.
