Hi,

Today at 11.45 I found the invitation card, for the yearly mot control, in our letterbox. Checked all the lamps and had to replace the left brakelight as that was burned. Went to the MOT station and at 13.15 I was back on my way home with a green card valid till 9/1/2010.;) :D :D :D

Sorry but here the MOT test is not done in a garage. We have a specific organisation which does the testing of all the cars no matter the make, each region has such a station (or two) where you have to present your car. Of course you can choose to go to another station than the one the closest to you (which I did as in the past they've been fouling around a couple of times when I went there with my daugher's Mini Monte Carlo, so now I decided to go elsewhere, serves them right.... Don't know the reason why they unbottled a bottle of champagne the moment I told them they saw the last of me.....:p :p :p ) Anyway, happy where I go now and so far been successful all the time, even with the Mini where the other SOBs made an issue of it.
