should be so long as my alternator behaves I'll be in my pretty much standard disco 1 probably somewhere close to a loud v8 90 with a mad short bloke lol

just hoping my new alt turns up in time or i can borrow one from my mates mate look out for a triple 7 reg disco shout animal at me and i should notice you :D

anyone got a pic of the wiring on the back of the 200tdi single v belt driven alternator? I've been an idiot and not remembered or taken a pic before taking mine off so now I'm confused as to which wire goes where and the haynes wiring diagrams don't seem to tally up with my truck :(

Post in disco section. Someone will be able to help you.

i didn't realise you guys were going. I'd really like to do yarwell but not sure about driving the truck that far and back with it's currently wayward handling.

Not hand a chance to really find out what is causing it.

Something is adrift on the rear end I think, ever since devils pit a couple of weeks ago. Ok at low speeds but at higher speeds, it seems to pull left/right when coming off the throttle.

The steering damper was loose, I've tightened this but its not sorted it. I can't find anything else thats got obvious play in it.

Raduis arm bushes or trailing arm bushes can let the axle move. Need to drive it backwards and forwards with someone watching for movement.

yep got everything sorted today so will be there shortly after half 9 with at least a 90 v8 that is definitely heard before its seen

nice breifly meeting you farrar was a good day out even with snapping both rear shocks and dislocating both rear spring then spending 4 hours in a+e cos of smashing my hand on my chassis when changing my shocks to find it wasn't broken just bruised think unless I have something hanging off that will be the last time at a+e for me hopefully next time I won't break anything but can't wait till then. some real smart machines and some real snotters but looked like fun was had all round
