X Reg Discovery V8...I need a new engine

Hi everyone,

I found this site online tonight and registered as I have just bought a Discovery 2, V8 GS with a blown engine.

I just wondered where I can get the correct replacement second hand, and how much I should be paying, and what I should look out for?

I would be grateful for any pointers.

aye, had a butchers but nowt doing...

i heard the engine was a bit rarer than the diesel, and i wanted to make sure i was looking for the correct engine, and that there were no changes that applied to my model year etc
