not a lot of pics of work this time, spent more time working out where the random earths went, why they entered one end of the loom and didn't appear to exit it anywhere, why the colour codes of wires changed randomly, why bits of can bus loom had been crimped or spliced into it, what was used to do what, and what was there that didn't need to be.

there also appeared to be a lot of frustration removed on a seized nato hitch, and some minor epic with a grease gun and a hard nipple? or was it a stuck nipple? anyway, didn't get involved with that bit, but seem to remember hearing something about "if you pump enough grease in, it might push the gun off the nipple." or something else might explode....

anyroad, here's what I snapped......

Some more pics:D

... random wires and connectors which weren't connected to anything at all :confused::confused:

Up to now, whilst delving around my Disco 2, I have found the same thing.... except these are genuine LR connectors :D :D :D (for factory options, or ones which have been swapped out on my Disco, but still there's a good few)

LOL, just remembered the latest Dave fault.

I happened to look at the spare tyre which was covered with one of the tyre covers.

Guess what, it wasn't the same size as the other four.

So Sarah now need another spare for the Wales trip :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Seems like everything that garage touched they did wrong
