Managed to get the missing clamp for the front of Morph, just need a
Starting handle and jack handle now, no great hurry but wondered if any one
has them gathering dust and no use for 'em.

Reaching the parts other Landrover restorers can't reach - JLo makes new
home in the USA.
Percy IIa - two Engines to the mile, awaits a new chassis.
Morph - He's "living the dream".

I'm sure I've got a series II/III one... wonder if I could get it extended.
Will have to check if the ends are the same and extend it in the middle I'd
guess so it'll still fit in the clamps at the ends.

Having tried to start a 101 on the handle, i can't see why anybody
would actually have any use for them except as an ornament for the
front.....

handy for prodding muddy puddles to see if there's a bottom. if the
bottom's further down than the length of the handle, you've got problems.

Alex, we did this conversation over five years ago... (When I was
looking for a starting handle).

I have since done it - not nice, but it isn't that hard. The hardest
part is getting the sodding handle to connect with the crank (odd, I
don't usually have that problem...)

Graham Holding:

Starting handle 10 quid

Jack handle 10 quid

You really can't miss Graham at any of the shows - he looks like
Father Christmas (big beardy wierdy chap - nice though).

Oh I never had a problem getting it in the hole, you just have to look
underneath (or stand on a mirror) and aim it carefully. It's just once
you've got it all the way in, it's rather stiff and requires much
effort to obtain smooth reciprocal movement. It does, however get
easier as you put more effort into it. You'd be surprised that once
you get into the rhythm of it and just as you're beginning to enjoy
the experience it goes off like a rocket, resulting in a great sense
of relief and pleasure, leaving you happily panting away......

He did have quite a few - dunno what he has left. He does usually go
to Eastnor - generally takes a Pinkie to show off his stand.
