Would you retrofit alpine windows?

Hi guys
Hope your staying safe and well.

Given the choice, of a solid roof or fitting alpine windows, what would you choose?

Mines a solid roof, and currently the roof is off. I personally prefer the look of the alpines, just wondering if they are a PITA with leaks, even with new seals, is it worthwhile?

Anyone got any going spare?

If you fit them as good as the factory do, then they will corrode round the edges.
As I have never sat in the back, I don’t see any benefit having them.

It does look nicer with the alpine windows (in my opinion) but they don’t actually serve much purpose, other than to let a bit more light in.

Fitted properly you won’t have any leaks or corrosion.

No need for alpines... you sit in the front plenty of light....

I would not retro fit,never liked the looks of them.

I like the look of series motors with safari roofs.

Mine's a CSW so has them in as standard. Never had any leaks from them or any corrosion around them. I never sit in the back and so don't benefit from the light.

I do like the look of them, but like most above, I wouldn't retro fit them.
