nice one mate, a stroke is near the top , if not the top , of my list of things i really don't want.:)
I wouldn't wish one on my worst enemy, its like taking a pair of scissors to a string puppet. I'll get there, did it before;) treading on eggshells at the moment, thrh cannot treat the heart problem because it may cause bleeding of the brain scaring.I feel sorry for the missus she's had to pick up the pieces and carry on.

@tomcat59alan Oh dear mate, really sorry to hear that you have hit such a setback.
Please accept my very best wishes for your fullest & speediest recovery.
The NHS is brilliant in this arena (God Bless them).

I know what you mean about the puppet, it reminds of that time when you accidentally double knotted the ball cradle in your dungeon, I thought we would never get you down.:)
I have always felt sorry for your missus mate..
On a more serious note, do you have any decent kit we can divvy up if you don't make it ?

I didn't have that luxury. I passed my test , was duty driver that night.
The day i passed i went to visit my girlfriend at the time. the 1 hour drive to farnham followed by the drive along the m25 to chessington absolutely terrified me. Totally different to driving around the Island and Havant that i was used to in the learning.

Getting dropped in the deep end helped in the long run i guess. P plates are a real curse though.

You have the same accountant as Ken Dodd? Surprised you have not killed yourself getting out of bed.
As Ken said when income tax was introduced it was 2 pence in the pound, I thought it still was.I know the senior investigator on his case who was mortified when it was scheduled for Liverpool Crown Court. He knew there was no chance of a guilty verdict:D.

Doddy was a legend, bless him. Another one gone.
