Would anybody know what causes a fuse (10amp) to continually pop when

activating the rear tailgate button on the fob remote, as you all probably know far better than I you can then not lock the car ..... And, as it's the wifes love of her life we must get this sorted as soon as practical ...being not too clever have unrated to a 15 amp fuse and probably shouldn't have but has held for two actuations so far without a hitch, have viewed some you tube stuff showing how to replace a part in the door but that also says it can be the fuel filler door lock
And really don't know where to start

All information would be great fully received

If i may say, I would remove the bigger rate fuse very quickly as there is a short somewhere and u don’t want to start the wires melting and catching fire

Nah, I'd get a fencing staple and wallop that bugger in there until it glows :p
