**** me your brave running 35 fedimas on a series what does it drive like ?
it goes anywhere and everywhere. It's OK really, quite well behaved on the road and pretty capable off-road. Detroit Locker and 24/24 spline Ashcroft Shafts in the back. I had Michelin XL 9.00x16 before, they measured 35.5" the Fedima measure 36.5"

I'm running a 2.5 N/A at present, 200 Tdi is next on list.

Looks cool :D be a good way to cover up my butchered wings
I trimmed the cuts with aluminium L section trim, so I don't have any sharp edges on the panels. Can't compete in punch challenges with sharp bits, won't pass scrutineering.

The last owner took off the roll cage that was on it and it was obviously heavily used off road as he's done the same modifications on the wings that you've got just worse

Had those stupid brittle plastic arches on it and the passenger one has shattered so I need to get a new one of them then cover up the front end

OI Gents don't forget to fit the longer wheel studs when ya fit the Wolf rims. & if you don't need longer studs you haven't got Wolf rims. Always amazes me just how much landrover stuff is ben flogged off with the "Wolf" name attached to it, and fetching fook orf stupid money..

I saw a guy at Peterborough selling plastic outer front wing panels for Series. They looked really good quality panels, £40 each. I was tempted to buy some as they looked like they'd take some serious abuse, plus I could cut them without sharp edges.

I'm just biting the bullet to spend £100 on some longer studs, yes I do need them. Mine were brand new in the box Land Rover part numbers, not copies.

They go on OK, but longer ones would be better. The ends of the studs are about 4mm short of flush with the nut. Longer studs are available from Paddocks at about £100 a set

How well do they fit without the longer studs as I'm bidding on a set of wolf rims ?

According to the army they're fine with the standard studs. Everyone was a bit up in arms when the new wheels were fitted as it looked like the nuts were barely on but as far as I am aware they tested them in some way or other and apparently its perfectly safe.

Apart from the genuine Wolf Land Rovers for sale by Witham at Peterborough, every other ex Army one they was selling with Wolf wheels fitted had the shorter studs. I know that for racing car scrutineering, the wheel nuts must have at least 7 turns to be deemed safe. I'm sure the standard studs give more than 7 turns of the nut.

Withams! Don't get me started on bloody withams! We disposed of two immaculate military 110s, the most up to date ones that have gone through project tithonus and have the fiberglass hard top, wolf wheels, exmoor trim seats, rebuilt engines etc...

Withams sell them at auction and make about 6000 for each one and rightfully so as a lot of the time they are in mint, barely used condition. I was appalled at how much the MOD sold them to withams for. Go on, have a guess. Winner gets a mars bar...
