I am hunting for the left and right Wolf air intakes on the Defender or
alternatively ....the part numbers.

The issue is ....supercharged 2.8i Defender is sucking a dent in the Mantec
snorkel and I loose around 20 bhp. If I bring air intakes out both sides, it
works very well ..... any alternative suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh, target is 170 kW on wheels .... around 230 bhp at 5700 ft above sea
level.

I am addressing this problem as we speak - the mould should be finished
this week in time to get some vents ready to take to Billing...
I have made a wingtop mounted air vent that picks up through a grille on
the front face and channels it back across the wing top into the 'heater'
intake vents. Fit one on the one side to boost your heater and fit one on
the other side to provide lovely cold air for your engine...

Have alook at the 'DEFENDER SPORT' page of www.llama4x4.co.uk - the photos
of the vents are of the model and not the finished item which will be in
ready to paint gel coat.

I am in South Africa but will be in UK, first week of Aug. If you can tell
me where I could find a left one ...and how much you require .....

Will need to think about price, probably about UK£25 +p&p. Dunno where
you'll get a left hand one, though. I'll look into it.

I managed to get a replacement (left side) one from a local UK LR main
dealer (now Marshall Land Rover of Lincoln, was TMS at the time).

Just went in and asked for it by name and they looked up the part number and
ordered it.

They do regularly have military LR's in for work so this might have helped.

Can't remember the cost, but don't remember it being that much- even for
Land Rover!!
