right , going mad as usual.

got all my electrics working - a 200tdi loom was fitted and a defender 200tdi engine was fitted.

I have everything working EXCEPT the fuel sender - which did work on the old 2.5 TD loom.

my issue is i cant find where the sender wires(grey white) from the tank go to the main loom harness.

ive found the fuel gauge green wire and connected that - my gauge works as it should.

i thought the wire next to that would be my fuel light wire. - how ever its female and so is the fuel tank loom and its not white/grey- i made and fitted a male male conversion and still it didnt work (tested by taking the sender out the tank and moving the arm to empty)

can someone clarify where its supposed to plug in to the main harness ill make it work somehow.

thanks

thats pretty much what i have looking at me (not my photo and my green wires not cut) I put the male green side of that connector into the closest female green on that block of 8 and the gauge worked.... where does the white go.

Latteral thinking.

It heads off towards the fuse box ..... But does it really. There is an8 block behind the dash with only 4 occupied.

2 of them are fuel gauge and fuel light. Working now , just needed to make a wee set of extensions from the engine bay into there
