Wiring loom for Heated Front Wind Screen

Hi All,

I currently have a Freelander Freestyle on a 55 plate which does not have the heated front wind screen.

I have the opportunity to change out the windscreen for a heated one and was wondering if the loom already exists to just plug on to the replacement screen. Then buy the switch and hey presto.

I can imagine that the above was blue skies thinking.

So.... Can someone please advise if i need a wiring loom and switch to make this replacement Heated front screen work. Also where would the best place be to get the parts and how easy it would be to have the loom fitted or DIY with a how to guide.

Also interested, I hear that the screen side of the loom may be missing

It is fairly straight forward to do. The wiring is not present, but is not difficult to run a new loom, and wire in a timer relay
