Haii guys,

I wanne stick a whole new wiring harness in my serie 3. The problem is that they are so expensive for some stupid cables. how can i fix this problem.
I've searched the whole internet in Belgium and England. but i didn't find the right one.
I need a whole new because mine is cut in pieces :'(.
I hope someone can help the Belgium guy.

Thanks ;)

You could always buy some wire and connectors and make your own. Strip out the old loom and use as a pattern. Take a bit of time but it's not that difficult. Reasonably good documentation in the manual....

You can still get the genuine terminals if you want to patch in the bits of your loom that still work. They're called Lucas 4.7mm "brass bullet" connectors and were pretty standard on all British cars up until about 1980.

Get the solder bullets and a decent iron. You can get the single and double couplers fairly easily. The doubles let you connect 4 wires together.

Thanks guys,

but i guess when I do something wrong, that whole my def will go up in fire, when I start it!:(
No?

Next for me is a rewire aswell. I was reading another forum where a guy makes his own from 7 core trailer wire going to each corner then heavier stuff for the starter etc. He also seems to run wired earths rather than using the chassis - i quite like that principle.
