Disco 2 Wipers popped off

Discovery 2 W reg
So last night on the way home from work, my passenger side window wiper popped and now doesn't work. The driver side seems OK. I've had this before on a punto and it just pops back onto the mechanism arm under the bonnet. But I cannot seem to see the same deal with my disco. Anyone have any ideas?

The windscreen wiper mechanism is behind the Plenum Air Intake which must be remove to gain access.

Has the wiper arm come off the spindle? they just get held onto the spindle by the nut.

No. The wiper is still on. It's popped off the linkage I think like brian47 said. But now I can't open the rave document. I gu

OK, some people have recommended removal of the bonnet makes access easier to the wiper linkage. If it needs replacing. I luckily have not had to do it...

The A pillar finishers can be tricky to replace, if you do remove them then take the metal clips out of the A pillar and fix them back on the trim piece when you go to refit them.
