Hi there guys, I have had a good trawl around but am stuck. First off my wipers weren't parking and the low and high speed were not working at all. Figured i'd try a new park switch first, yep that fixed the parking problem but still no high or low speed setting. I bought a motor off a wrecker and popped that in but still no high or low speed? Now I figure that maybe both of my motors are shot? Or there is something else I need to investigate before I throw myself to the mercy of the local specialist? Has anyone else had this snag, I have just spent a whole day on this and the Mrs is non too pleased some am desperate lol.

Cheers

Hi, yes I only have intermittent wipe (with the new switch fitted, before it was constant and did not park). Where is the wiper control switch neilly?

Cheers

If you have intermittent wipe then the motor should be in working order.
Sorry to ask this but have you connected the park switch correctly?

I call it the wiper control switch,

It is the arm near the steering wheel that you move to select fast , slow, intermittent, also has the washer button on the end.

Cheers

I swapped out the motor and had exactly the same problem so not the motor it seems? Decided to get the multi meter out and check for volts on all three wires on the motor. Now the red wire is the intermittent I presume? I was getting a reading from there whilst the wipers were in motion, however the blue and the yellow from memory, they gave me nothing, I tried both selections on the wiper stalk during test. Now the washer pump has stopped working, I'm going to replace the switch and relay.
