Hi

Bit new to all this but i wander if anyone could help me with a problem with my discovery wipers, when i put them on intermittent they wipe the screen but dont return to the parked position, has anyone got any clues to the problem it would be greatly appreciated especially at this time of year, Merry Christmas!!!:)

If it's anything like Rover cars, it's probably the motor gone, intermittent just flaps about the screen where it feels like it, and they refuse to self park when turned off, replacement motors usually worked out cheaper and easier than trying to get the old one apart.

Don't take my word for it, I'm only going on my experiences of Rovers normal cars, but some parts are shared so it's possible.

Hell could be worse, could be an 800 where the ball and socket joints fall apart and leave you with no wipers in the ****ing rain and dark:rolleyes:

Heath Robinson would of been proud of that bodge err I mean superb fix :D

I am going to try and get a second hand one off ebay, yes rovers do seem to have been bypassed when good design methods were being handed out!!!

Cheers

Steve
