Hi all,
I purchased a new extended wing mirror arm from L/R show Peterborough. Feeling chuffed I fitted it as soon as I got home, only to discover that whilst driving the mirror arm itself moves which the wind, the arm is tight to the hinge/bracket but the play is the actual arm pivot itself,
Anyone have any ideas of how to sort it besides trying to get hold of the stall holder I purchased it from, things brand new just weak Spring/tension so not a happy bunny...
Any help greatly appreciated.

The old girls got 242,000 on the clock and thought I'd treat her to a new mirror

I'd guess that an extended arm is for use when towing a caravan or large trailer of some sort and 'cos they're limited speed they maybe aren't as tight as a normal one ...

OTOH, leave it outside a few days, the corrosion will tighten it all by itself .. ;)
