Is there any way of tightening the wing mirror? As it is moving about and not staying in place. The arm is good enough, it is just the mirror itself. Or do I buy a replacent kit.

Cheers

If you look underneath there is a small Allen key screw, about 3 mm I think. Have you tried tightning that?

As above - if the allen screw is tight then wip it out and bend the small bracket so that it applies more pressure to the mirror when tightened up.

The bottom of the mirror has a screw to tighten it as already mentioned, sometimes the bit that the screw goes through cracks and then you can't tighten it any further, a replacement mirror head is around a tenner so easily sorted.

Cut a couple of finger tips off a latex glove. Having removed the mirror from the arm, slip one or two of these finger tips over the ball on the arm, put the mirror back on and re tighten. The extra friction of the rubber means the mirror doesn't swivel on the ball and stays in position. Works a treat, takes minutes and costs nothing.
