windscreen wiper problem

Hello i have a problem with my passenger wiper arm, it keeps jamming up even though the other one turns. The motor has been replaced and is fine and i have greased the track. Anyone know what the problem could be? Forgot to mention its on a defender td5 thanks?

It's likely the pinion, they wear out and cause issues

hi there thanks for the swift reply do you mean the post that the wiper arm fixes to and if so are they replacable

There are not too expensive on ebay. Personally I would change the pair as they are probably the same age and likely bad as each other.

Hi there and thanks for your help it turned out to be a. 1cm damaged area on
Track the teeth on the spindle drive gear would not run over top just kept
Forcing it to bow upwards and jam up ended up replacing the whole
Shooting match jobagooden
