Windscreen replacement

Hello
Has anyone had their windscreen replaced by Carglass and if so what sort of job did they do? My P38's screen has a crack and I don't know if it would be better to go to Carglass (insurers pay them direct) or to go to a main dealer (I pay and then wait for the insurer to reimbourse me).

Most car windscreen replacement are pretty much similar Just make sure you or he covers the bonnet & wings to prevent any scratches while he's working. Been such a high vehicle he'll have to lean right over to reach the centre. If it's a national company I'm sure they'll go a good job. Is the window Bonded in or fitted to a removable seal?
