does every defender come with a heated windscreen?

very few come with heated windscreens,i think the new (ish) ones do,you can buy heated screens but there about £ 350.00, if you look closely at the glass you should be able to see the filament.I's pretty sure a 97 110 won't have a heated screen :hysterically_laughi

thanks for the response.
I do have a question about de-fog or de-mist though.
I have a button next to my fog light switch, that looks like it's for defogging. how does this work, when the button isn't anywhere near the heater controls.

i'm not sure which switch you talking about ? ,it might be for the heated REAR window ,is it in a row of 3 switchs on the right hand side of the steering column about knee height ?.

well it was origonally ,whether it works or not now is another matter,mine still lights up but the element broke ages ago,rear heated windows are still available (if your paticular),and are easy to fit.
