Hi. I feel foolish even posting this as really can’t work out how there could possibly my be some connection here… freelander 1 on a 51 plate.

I’ve had to replace the two window regulators on the near side door; rusted cables broke so windows didn’t go up/down at all. All done much more successfully than I expected for the YouTube vids but bizarrely now if I actually use up/down on any window it seems to cut the Bluetooth connection between iPhone and Pioneer head unit.

It’s illogical but grateful for any thoughts on causes, ideas on areas to investigate.

Thanks

It's possible the motor in the window mechanism is causing some form of electromagnetic radio waves, which is upsetting the BT.

Not really, I should have said electrostatic radio waves, but autocorrect put electromagnetic instead, so not so smart for not checking the wording before posting.
