Window rattle fix

Only temporary.

My 110 CSW has sliding rear windows that rattle. Needs new window channels, only £40 but they are down the list on priority so have tried all sorts.

Stuffing para cord in, draught excluder but none quite did the job as well as

Blu-tack.

Yup! Does a great job, until I can get the new channels and fit them

got rawl plugs stopping mine but might swap to bluetak!

Blue tack in mine too,,,,,,been in there 2 years now

That's next on my list it looks like blue tac is the way to go

I have been waiting on a decent fix for mine since I bought my 90, if this works, I will buy you a pint.

Great!!!! I was thinking about sticking folded up bits of card into them but blu tac it is then :lol:

Card rattles free. Blu Tack seems to be the fix for them.

Will post a how to maybe when I get my new channels... Eventually

Just been over to Asda to buy some, another job on the list!

I used little rubber wedges that were made for the job. Even had a hole in the end for a bit of string. Have a look in your nearest 'proper' hardware shop.
