Strange this... Has anyone had this.
Went to work this morning and fine.
Left work for a 40 min drive home about 16.45.
Drivers window went down no problem.
Get home and window won't go up. Ecu clicks.
Swap switches and still just a clicking from the ecu?
Had to sort stuff out with children so left it.
Went out about 20.00 and the window. Miraculously went up and down no problem. It had cooled down.
Anyone had this and /or know how to stop it or fix it?
Thanks

This is extremely like another thread on here that may be ongoing. Last time i looked, the OP was looking for a short to earth possibly where the wires go from the door pillar to the door.
Chafing maybe the reason.
But there can be other reasons, inevitably.
But intermittent faults are often due to this sort of thing, you could try opening the door and then trying to see if the window works normally, if this affects whatever is going on then it may well be where the wire moves and flexes.
