hi lookin into fitting a front winch and would like to know what i need? is the altanator ok? batterie/s? wiring? what types the best for money? and is it worth it? iv got a defender with a 2" lift, disco 200tdi engine. all infomation and help would be great!!!! thanks

It seems a hell of a lot of money
if you are going to do it right
your looking at £1K to £2K
I looked into it and i suppose
if you were going out on your
own its worth it........
thiefs like them

I took the cheaper option
2 bow shackles and a tow rope
for the guy who has the winch
to tow me out

Thats when I make up me mind to
go out with the club BHCLRC greenlaning
summer I think

Dunt bother - winches is fer posers.
git yerself a tirfor and a high lift jack it yer wanna be equiped for recovery.
