Winch

Just picked up this winch already mounted on a bumper.
1) What make is it?
2) How is it supposed to be attached to the cross member? There is a gap between the bracket and crossmember, is it supposed to be bolted right through?

Possibly a ramsey or fairey, will be stamped somewhere on it


Then just make up a mounting plate out of folded 6mm with some strengthening bars

There's some rivets where an id tag used to be. The only number stamped i can see is AWC 6641 (or poss AWG 6641) prob means nothing.
How do you mean strengthening bars? Through the crossmember or just weld a bracket on the front of it?

Thats AWC I presume as in Aeropart winch company, strengthening bars as in you'd have your 6mm plate then a 10mm plate underneath where the bolts go through in order to add some extra support if bolting down


Could also be a Turner though, is it crank driven ? in which case it defo will be turner
