Alright mate i have this winch
RECOVERY WINCH 13000 lb 12v 4x4 WINCH-IT 2012 SPEC NEW MOTOR COOLER W/less rem | eBay
Its got me out the muck a couple of times but was only on the truck for 2 months...now the trucks dead ha ... its got the original winch cable with it and a competition marlow rope on it at the minute which is far better. came to test it before taking it off and it seems to just not be working?! i dont know about them too much but the company said it could be the solenoid of something?
Want £130 for it as it is, iv cleaned it all up looks almost new.

Ive only ever heard of these husky winches today. what on earth are they all about? Good/Bad reviews? WHere to buy?

Oh and ebay is the only place you'll find a second hand one for that price, mine even came with a tele radio remote control

No, at around a grand they're pretty well built!
Case hardened nickel steel gears etc

and here they are in the $600-700 price range new 450-500 quid
