winch wireing

hi anybody got any pics info or advice in setting up a twin batterys to power a winch regards colin

Depends if you are going to use a split charge system or not, if not join positive to positive and neg to neg with cable the same size as your winch/starting motor cable. I normally have the take off between the two batteries. remember to protect the cables from and sharp edges and in a defender make sure the steel cover under the seat doesn't cross both terminals.
If you are unsure about this get an auto electrician to have a look at it for you.
