Ah now then, we need to attend to the grammar, as that is an abiguous statement.
Did you mean,
(1) No-one was was speaking about sidewaysste.
or
(2) No, one was speaking about sidewaysste.
?
You can see why one might find one's self confused.

will it work the other way round will discover 2 18s it on a discovery 4
No because the D2 wheels have a smaller hub so won't fit over spigot on a D3 or D4

Discovery 2 wheels do seem to be a strange stud pattern, as far as I'm aware, the only wheels which are interchangeable with the Disco 2 are from the P38 Rangie.
