will a 200tdi engine fit ?

Just to add, pushing the engine foward to accomidate the disco box means that the pipes outa the disco for the intercooler and rad fit.

Also, im still after that V8!

And yes, it does hide the sticks in the cubby box. I had a lovely hand crafted work of art of a cubby box i had made, then i had to lop the front off it and move it half a foot backwards too. However, the new lever location is much better, more relaxing to drive. I fiberglassed the old hole up, but i still havent properly sealed the new one.

The Chassis that has come with the project is designed for a later engine, so hasn't got the mounts where I need them.
