hmm that's interesting to know maybe i will do this then later on in week

Thats what I thought though, surely if I wanted it i'd bid and buy or at least message with an offer!

True that! cheers for your advice!

Anymore very welcome!

On the flip side, if you can tell me how to get 40mpg and a child seat with easy access fixed in vehicle then I could keep her lol!

It is a bit dear mate and 110 hard top are a niche market, workers or overlanders and not much call in between.

On the flip side, if you can tell me how to get 40mpg and a child seat with easy access fixed in vehicle then I could keep her lol!

I fitted a kiddy seat in my lightweight many years ago, removed the cover off the seat and bolted it with a steel spreader plate and 4 coach bolts in between the front seats straight through the bulkhead.

Very easy to get to from either side.... problem solved

If rear facing can you not fit a daigonal centre belt or make the missus sit on the centre seat :)

Cheers Steve

Stick the winch and bumper on ebay separately any I'll consider buying the winch, you'll get more money if you sell bits individually :D

My view is there's quite a lot of extras on there that could come off and be sold so you can lower the asking price

Winch bumper and winch £300, maybe more depending what it is

Wheels and tyres £300 +

A bar £50

Light guards, roof lights, CB,rock sliders, bumperettes

The problem is anybody buying it will be using it as a toy , money is tight so toy buyers are rare.

I'd return it to as standard as you can, if you can sell £700 worth of extras it should sell easily enough at £3500 , standard wheels and tyres cost buttons as do most of the other standard bits

I think its great! I hope you get what you want for it. If I had the money I'd buy it for my hubby to replace his Ford Van because he would love this! Good Luck.

Nice, just to give you an idea though, I bought one just before xmas,1998
hardtop,it has been dry stored since 2006 never been on a salty road 55000 miles
big service history and everything has been replaced, brand new in 2010 i,e brake discs, pads, hoses, springs, shockers, polybushed all round, new fuel tank, timing belt pullies, everything you can think of,everything, body still polished green paint underneath, no rust, mint ab fab it was on Ebay started at 99p it had 25 bids within 24 hours up to 3,200 it also had a buy it now price of 3,950 of which I pressed the button and bought without viewing, and I have not been disapointed or stopped grinning.

That's interesting, maybe if she doesn't sell in these 7 days I'll change it to 99p start, and put a 4300 reserve on? would that work do you think? would it be silly to edit my advert on ebay now?
It sucks so much that I have to sell it! Grrrr

A mate mentioned that I should strip it back to standard vehicle and sell it off, if the weather picks up I'll try and do that, only problem is I have nowhere to store anything!

Would make sense I suppose though, :-(

Ah well, **** it i've just paid £8 quid to add a reserve so not going to remove it and let her go for a stupid price!

Often adverts themselves can be off putting and yours is no exception.... just a few tips

1. You have put ... need a vehicle suitable for the new child

i) prospective buyer reads 'dont buy this if you have kids' Buyers gone

2. You put need an economical vehicle for long commute

ii) buyer reads 'dont buy this unless you are an oil sheik it'll break you' Buyers gone

3. You've listed loads of off road goodies

iii) buyer reads 'regularly thrashed off road otherwise why would all this be fitted'

4. You've put 'guzzles fuel as you'd expect' a surefire way to win sales when the whole country is broke and fuel on the up

Honesty is a virtue they say but your ad does no favours

no need to start lying but no need to paint so many disadvantages to landy ownership either

Cheers Steve

I've sold a fair few cars on ebay and had reasonable success with it.

I see that you have taken advice on board and updated the listing. It looks to be a nice 110 for the money.

Good luck with the sale this time!

Looks good - I'd have bid if I didn't already have one

Could just be that the panels limit the market compared to a County?

Hope you get what you need

Strangely enough I've just sold her to a good home, and had a few more asks to come and view it! typical eh! She's left a hole in my life now! gutted! but needs must!
Thanks for all the advice!
