Right chaps...its easy - how Old ya hippo is, how many miles its done, how long you have had it and how much ya love it....:D

Shall I be mother?

Tiny is a white gold XEDI on an "S" plate, had her since she was a babby. Got her for £8500 and a knackered ford escort back in 2001. She was only 2 at the time...awwwww.....
Since then she has covered a total of 150k.
Mods: '05 Black leather interior, Vortex alloys, various engine tweaks, rear lamp guards.
No mechanical nightmares as such but responsible for the demise of several german marques including 1x VW Beetle, 1x Audi A4, 1x VW Golf GTI and several gold streaks down 1X Tractor, 1x Mini, 1x VW Sprinter van. All no fault accidents (Just call me Jhona)

Tiny puts her stunning good looks down to the fact only 3 of her panels are original and they are UNDERNEATH.:D

She is currently seen having her header tank topped up until the weekend when MR Dealer gets a wad of money for a coolant pipe.

Who's next?

I got my Td4 since january 9 2001, got it brandnew, it has done so far a fantastic amount of kms (53.000 :D :D ). It's an SE and as extra's I have the black plastic sparewheel cover, mudflaps, rubber door protection strips and the black siderunners. Love the car very much and enjoy it even more each time I'm driving it. (Prefer it over my previous one which was a Mercedes 190E about which I was pleased as well as I kept it for 13 years and over 200.000 kms).

Mines a metallic red 2001 Freebie registered 11 days after the increase in road tax funds applies . Bought it in November 2005 and took it off road for the first time on new years eve 2006 :D. It had 74k on the clock when I got hold of it and now has to date 85k. Fitted a Bearmach 2 inch lift kit a couple of weeks ago with the help of a mate, and had to spend £70 to get the tracking and camber etc sorted , apart from that its standard. Leather interior, CD autochanger with steering column mounted controls, Manual. Originally bought it to tow a boat .
Still haven't bought the boat . Much better than the Mondeo I used to have :D

Bought mine 16 months ago its a 2001 td4 es auto bronzy silver, leathers and electric everything, aircons great bin all over europe in it, off roaded it, She's called Gismo, It's cost me a bit when it spat it's gearbox but shes just about forgiven at the moment. thrown a few extras at her to keep her sweet. 130k on the clock now and still goes like a rocket...:D

Bought mine off my son when his marriage went tits up. He had it new in Oct 2003. It's a td4 metallic black, 5 door, BMW engine, H/lamp and rear/lamp guards, side steps and front seat covers ( well worth the money) 29000 on the clock. The only thing I've collected was a slight smudge on rear/off side panel, where some prick in a taxi in Stratford-upon-avon tried to push past and took his wing mirror off, (he didn't stop )
I feed it with diesel, change things when needed and just love it, especially in the crappy weather.

Had it since the arse fell out me Disco ( which i loved for 7 years) so i needed a new works van quickly, that was April this year. £7400 .Since then we've put 8K miles on it,now at 89K, including a bloody good squirt around Jockland and Mull ,untill ming spoilt it wiv his rocket attack,:D
The only thing its needed was a replacement VCU,Cost me nowt, and oil and filters changed, Just so I know there done.
Only extras are one of Rons Boxes:D :D and some roof bars for ladders and the like. And YES! I bloody love it:D
Having had the Disco I never thought I would buy a Hippo, but now There's no way I'd go back to the tractor,on AND off road, this thing comes out Top!

Most recent ones taken in the Devils Punch Bowl at Hindhead (owned by the National Trust, you have to stay on the red routes otherwise youll get a hefty slap on the wrist:eek:  ). First time off road with the 2 inch lift :D :D . Gives so much more confidence.
I also took it down a track where I turned it into a tobogan at the beginning of the year (what a ride that was:rolleyes: ). No probs this time round, plenty of clearance. Recommended upgrade to anyone.:)

Mines 2003 auto es ,done bout 70,000 miles now ,packed up once ,rear fuel pump went tits, go faster gismo fitted bout 2 years ago ,goes like stink, fix most fault myself ,never worry bout warrenty after 30,000 ,change oil and filter every year as i feel that is the best thing for a diesel, best motor ive ever had , and i have worked on a lot , would i get another, ya bet i would, i have worked on most lrs and like them all ,but for sheer motoring joy this is without the best [in my opinion], just gonna put a bit a vasaline on its rear bit[snort]. . . .:)

don't forget the dirty leather seats will ;)

Hi yella,

Thanks for reminding me, (shame on me to forget the most important extra:D :D ) I also forgot the centre armrest which is great. (In fact imo the best of all the options it got).

I've converted and bought a 1998 Freelander 1.8 Hardback for the princely sum of £550. It has lost compression and was a bit untidy (Dirty seats, 1 punctured tyre and a missing mirror cover)

Has covered 98,000 and hopefully will be up and running by the end of August (Helps if you have 6 week summer holidays :D ). I have just bought all of the parts to repair (came to £173 from LR dealer)

Seats came up a treat with Simoniz upholstery cleaner, spare has been fitted and I shall be sorting the mirror later on today.
