Well since i broke down in november my diesel series 3 has been a pain!
losing power (if it had much to lose) and dropping down to 12 mph on up hill sections of dual carriage way.
apart from that it was fine......
so i thought to get a new fuel pump and filter.
When i took the pump off... i found....the arm had broken off!
so it has been running for 6 months without a fuel pump!
Can you believe it but, it is now easier to start?
it still is painfully slow, but i did see 65mph recently even with the big roof rack.
