whistling noise from TD5

I've noticed a almost whistling noise coming from my TD5 especially when its cold or sat for a few days. Seems to go away after a bit but just curious if this is normal or anyone knows / heard of this before?

I found at least 20 threads dealing with turbo whistling.

If its 'blades thrashing through the air' style whistle then might well be viscous fan coupling nadged.

If its 'compressed air whistling out of a hole' style then maybe turbo - intercooler pipe nadged or come loose, or turbo shot or.....

Search will come up with most options, but sticking your head under the bonnet while someone revs it (keeping your appendages well out of harms way....) should narrow down the location/source a bit.
