My speedo currently over-reads when I compare it to the numbers on the GPS. I understand that if I install a different speedo drive on the transfer box, I can potentially compensate for the changes on the vehicle that are messing things up.
I am running a Disco II transfer box which I think is a 1.211 ratio (slight lower than a Disco I box at 1.222)
I am also running 265/75/16 tyres which obviously make a difference.
What drive do I need, and is swapping it a straightforward job (I had the transfer box in bits on the bench recently but I can't remember if access is easy with the box in situ)
