I have an early 110SW, and these are the back seats...
Our little lad is just about outgrowing his initial, rear-facing Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix, and needs to move into the next size up. In fairness as the Defender (technically a 1986 110) is a toy, he doesn't often go in it, but as our other cars are a bit more mainstream, the Defender is likely to the the "problem" vehicle that we need something to fit properly.
At the moment, our Freelander1 has a Maxi-Cosi strap in Easy Base (strap in because it doesn't have Isofix), and our 3 Series Touring has a Maxi Cosi Isofix base, both permanently in each vehicle. We "dock" the Cabriofix in those cars, and for the Defender just use the seat belt loops on the Cabriofix.
Obvious solution seems to be a Maxi-Cosi Pearl, and swap the Easy Base between the Freelander and Defender as required, but if anyone has any good info on which seats go well in a Defender please do let me know!
Thanks!
