Before i get round to fitting the bodywork back on the body, i think i might fit a new fuel tank. I have a 95 300tdi 110. Can some one tell me if the cradle should be a seperate item as im having trouble splitting it from the tank. If its in two pieces i would like to seperate them to check for rot in between them but in trying i think i may cause a problem. Either way what part no do i need for this/these items in case all goes tits up. Cheers Mick

Hi Mick, it is two parts spot welded together, the welds are where the mounts are. Once you drill them out (what's left of them) you will get some rust scale fall out of the gap, and if it's like mine, find some holes in Ya tank. My cradle was ok apart from one weldable hole so I ordered a tank on its own from LR direct and when it arrived thought 'this is heavy' and sure enough the cradle was in the box too!

They list the tank and cradle separate, my tank was about £75 delivered (free) and the cradle tends to be about an extra 30, paddocks prices similar. I guess the genuine lr tank comes with it fitted but for what they cost I'm not about to find out! I only ordered the tank because my cradle was ok, and it was a tight month!

Im having a tight year! Ive found this on LR parts shop .com Part No: WFE000190. Is this the one for me do you know as i cant find any variations
Just looked at paddocks, a lot clearr and cheeaper. Thanks for your help

Just checked the invoice and Mine was nrc7570. I think mine is slightly different, it's an 85 so 10 years older than yours. Is yours the one that's same as an RRC? As far as I could see, the only difference was that the sender goes in the top on yours, whereas mines in the side.
