Having fitted longer shocks to my p38. I'm now on the search for some longer brakelines.

Anyone any thoughts on what to get?

-Britpart offer a set of 4 stainless lines that claim to be +40mm
https://www.devon4x4.com/britpart-s...nge-rover-p38-1995-up-to-ta-chassis-40mm.html
Price isn't bad at about £55

But it says 1995 to chassis TA. No idea what this means or what might have changed after this chassis number? I'll have to dig the paperwork out on mine to see what the chassis no. is.

-Terrafirma Goodridge offer a set of 6 lines that are +2"
https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/tf654gd-terrafirma-goodridge2-brake-hose-kit-p38-1994-2002.html
Price is nearly double at over £100 though. And they say they are fine with all models 1995 - 2002

Not sure why the Britpart are only 4? Assume it isn't doing all the lines maybe. And no idea why the Britpart ones have a chassis restriction and the others don't.

I don't really know if +40mm will be long enough, I'm not sure how much extra droop I've really gained. Having over 2" (50mm+) does seem a more sensible option. Such a shame they aren't only £20 more.

You have the later set up so after chassis TA, the early cars have flexis that drop down to the diff and pipes clipped to the axle, if you have not replaced the pipes from front bulkhead to the rear now is the time while you are doing the flexis, you will see why by the state of them over the rear cross member.
