Which cars have the same engine

Hi there this is my first post on this forum but I have had a lot on good advice from here previous to this, I have a range rover p38 1995 with the 2.5 BMW engine. I am currently having some problems with overheating, there wasn't any sort of pattern to it, it would just overheat randomly once a week. I have no water in my oil and no oil in my water but over the past few days the car just overheats after about 10 miles of driving. I have had a look and I can't see any obvious leaks (I'm not a mechanic by any means) I have come to the conclusion I think it is head gasket so I am going to have a whole new engine fitted because mine has done 250,000, can any body tell me which other cars have the same engine in please. Hi there, welcome to the forum.
The BMW 2.5 engine is totally different to the 2.5 N/A referred to in this particular section of the forum.
I'm sure some kind moderator will move your post to the right section.
