I am after a set of alloy wheels for my 1991 200tdi 90 defender which has the standard solid steel wheels fitted but have noticed the drive shaft cap sticks out from the centre of the wheel.
Is there a specific type of alloy that will fit my landy and how is the drive shaft cap hidden.

I think you'll find the Discovery 1 and Defender wheels will fit... the problem comes with rear drum brakes rather than the drive shaft cap. Spacers can be used if needed.

As said, the problem will be if you've got drum brakes on the rear. There isn't a large enough flat area on the back of the Boost wheel to accommodate this. If you're determined to have Boosts you'll either need spacers or to find a later back axle. I'd guess the front would be OK without spacers but I haven't actually offered any up, so couldn't swear to it. However, for reasons of handling it might be advantageous to keep the track the same front and back.

No you'll need spacers front and rear other with the rubber cap on the hub will poke out through the centre cap of the wheel on the front wheel

Yep I have the same issue, you will need spacer front and rear
and if you are getting boost alloys you will also need new wheel nuts
