Where to start! Advice plz new member

I have a 95 M 300tdi ES Auto, i was fitting a new tensioner when i realised the the pully on the pump was rattleing and that the bearing had gone so i fitted a new pump, tensioner and thermostat in one go.

I now have no hot air from the blowers! Temp gauge stays just under half ive been out in the snow putting her through some ruff stuff and temp is fine the diso never skips a beat but still no heat! i bled her through the stat housing topped up expansion with anitfreez and left running but still nothing!

Hoses each side of the pump are nice and hot water pumping well but hoses going through the bulklhead and coldish???(to the matrix)

I have read other posts but was woundering wat todo first? (in my case)

You could try slackening of the return hose from the matrix on the engine side untill you see water and the you will know that it has bled properly as in past history they can be a nightmare to get going again.

Hi , agree with disco2 ,rebleed system again , in order to illiminate air lock .

Sorry to sound daft but how do u tell them apart ??? flow or return?

Ive disconected the return showing no water when running and heaters on, so filled the pipe with water and it kept going down (i think pushing out the air lock) then hosed the matrix for 30 seconds re conected the pipe. Walhaaaaaaaaaa heat so will bleed it all again tomorrow maybe give it another go with hose pipe thank u all
