They usually come with caliper or master cylinder rebuild kits. All I can find is a 500g tub which would outlive me and my grand children :) - or has anyone got a few spare sachets that I can buy >> ???? (I will pay all costs inc postage to Portugal...)
Its for rebuilding an ABS modulator so I simply cannot risk anything off of fleabay, needs to be genuine kosha stuff. - All I can find here (without going into the city) is unbranded small tins which I simly cannot afford to risk.
Cheers

I buy it in pots - last I bought was Morris lubricants stuff ... IIRC its about £6 for 500g (?).... do you want me to check and get back to you ?

Hello mate, Thanks ever so much for the very kind offer, as far as I can ascertain from Morris datasheets there is no mention of DOT 4 compatibility or EPR EPDM seal compatibility :( - it is probably identical to Castrol !.. I think castrol is around the same price - however, I will email tech at Morris and ask them re EPDM and DOT 4 etc.
It would be really good if you can get a price and an approximate postage cost ?
post area 4575 Porto Portugal
Many thanks mate and again, really appreciated !

I use this stuff Joe. It's compatible with pretty much everything brake related.

It's cheap too.

Hi Nodge - :) - I had already emailed DT this morning for a postage cost .. that is the beasty. :) - waiting for a reply

I bought the larger tin,lol
is this smaller pot any good for u , 4 quid
just thought it being on Amazon should be a lot easier for postage etc

Hi Gary, :) unfortunately, Amazon used to offer free shipping over a certain cost to Portugal, that is now stopped... (B&stards lol) .. :D ..
So, now it is a Minimum of £6 delivery no matter what the size of the item. Also, a lot of amazon market place traders that use ebay I am highly suspect of - especially stuff in no name unmarked tins. :( ....
Considering that it is going into an ABS modulator it is critical that the stuff is correct. You can also use it on caliper slides etc so maybe some of it will be used from a larger tub .. or possibly, I could cover myself in it and swim across the bay of Biscay :D:eek:
It will probably be good for re-juvinating bumpers too (seriously !);)

Hi again Disco1
I have received info back from Morris that looks extremely favourable. They are confirming compatibility with the EPDM / EPR seals and the DOT4(x) brake fluids with their technical departments and chemical engineers. It would appear to be purely in respect of the seals that they are getting confirmation. I am sure it will not be an issue due to the base composition of the grease.
What a superb company to deal with. ! :)

Always found them pretty good myself - rang my supplier, but they were engaged !! didn't get chance to ring them back - busy day. prices for postage seem to be anything from £6 ish to upwards of £20 !!!!

I'll be back to you tomorrow for definite -as it appears I have a Ford to fix o_O - and it'll need parts ( they always do !! )

Many thanks sir, really appreciated. the £6 option sounds good lol.....
In fact - Royal mail seems cheapest - under 2 Kg - I can see a quote of £5.40 :) (royal mail international standard - online) - that is good !
Best regards
Joe

Right then. Can't get Morris !!!!! but can get Ironsides, which from previous experience should be at least as good - I rang them - their sales director is ringing me back and hopefully sending me a datasheet, which I'll forward.
Pricewise, its the same as the Morris. :)And they only have one pot left in stock ! ( must be popular or sumfink ?!?!:D)

I'll pm you as soon as I know:)

Morning Disco :)
I cannot find any form of suitable grease on their website. Which of their products were you looking at please ?.
Also, I am wondering if Morris may send a 'sample' if I use my company address :) ? ... just a thought lol ... it has worked before :) ;)... I am still awaiting feedback from their Chemical engineers.
Many thanks again !, I really appreciate all your very kind help.

Morning :)
They are a tiny company, not far from me, so they can probably be excused for having a less than perfect website. As I was typing this, their man rang me - nice bloke - friendly and interested in the application too - he assures me its fully compatible, but is sending the spec over by email.. I'll forward it shortly.

That sounds excellent ! :) .. Look forward to seeing it. Out of interest, did you mention it was being used inside an ABS modulator ? - I think that made Morris stop and pass the question to their techy / chemisty type bods ;) ...:D
