in the quiet words of the virgin Mary....." Come again"??? can you explain please?

Put the EAS up high, freeze the suspension by leaving the tailgate open and stick a couple of axle stands under the chassis if you are nervous, climb under the car, near side I think, you will find a plug on the side of the gearbox, remove and prepare to get oil up your sleeve. You can check but I think you top up with the engine running until the oil runs down your sleeve, then put the plug back:D

ok so i got under removed the plastic cover and opened the plug and put 500ml of oil in there and had "her in doors" go through the gears with the engine running while i was filling closed it up and went for a test drive so far so good no problems to report original problem seems to have not returned will keep you posed with any further developments,

Many thanks Datatek for the quick replys to my original questions and the accurate responses

There was a thread on this a day or so ago. Were instructions were given on both versions. Dipstick and none dipstick. But think it is worth mentioning that you top box up ONLY when the oil is cold. NEVER top it up when oil is hot, more important on none dipstick version. Because, A, oil expands when hot and taking out the filler could result in you getting soaked with ATF. B, if you do top it up with oil hot, besides getting soaked with what you think is excess oil, when it cools it will be low on oil.

dont worry it wasent hot. the engine was started up on the driveway where it sat fro 12hrs previously. she started it up when i had the filler nut out and was filling.
