Where can I get a cheap Battery p38 DSE

Hi Folks!
We don't use our Range Rover very much and the battery has given up.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a "good value" battery from for my 1998 2.5 DSE please?

I'm told mine is the larger of the two batterys as there was a slightly smaller one fitted to the Range Rovers with less electrical items and I'm hearing figures of £115 + Vat!!!!.

I helped a mate who's battery failed while in Norfolk recently, the local motor factors were a few £s cheaper than Halfords, but not much even with trade discount so looks like £80-£90 is the region you could expect to find.

Aye but I'll bet the one from the factors was a decent one.

There no such thing as a cheap decent battery....unless you can find one laying around doing nothing... :suspicious:

PS: I'd recommend a C31 Trojan Mileage Master but they're expensive...

Hi, Thanks to eveyone who replied.
I have source and I think I'll be buying a Battery from a local motor factor for £82.80 inc VAT. Its the 115amp one too so its quite a decent one.

buy a Landrover one they are not expensive (hard to believe ) especially as you dont use it too often it needs to hold a charge
