wher as it come from

hi all, new member to this site so look forward to all my new contacts.
ok cleaned the disco today [95 300tdi] and when i took the passenger side rubber mat out i found that the carpet was a wee bit damp.i removed the black cover strip and the sounddeadening foam is wet.
now i had the same experience with the boot floor which i replaced as the water was coming in from the curved windows on the roof.
cant understand where the footwell water is coming from though.it was alroht a few months back as when i did the boot floor i checked allround.
also are there drain holes in front of the windsreen as when i wash the disco i notice that the water seems to run down the gap between the front wing and a post.

check the air con drain tubes, the're prone to blocking.

i would love to know where the water drainsfrom off the windscreen,surely it doesnt just run between th bulk head andinner wing?

checl the weatherseal strip round the front windscreen my is 200tdi same problem thought it was hole in footwell but nope checked all so decided to mix a light flour water etc or if u can use food dye colour and using water can and go over windscreen etc loads of water and evetunall u will find where it comes from mine was the top corner rubber seal so use the wuick fix get superflex seal from halfords 4.50 quids and peel back as much poss and seal it and using finger and rub it round and see if that fix it.

Sounds interesting - any one tried this stuff on sunroofs?
