hey. im not sure if this is the right place to post this. sorry if it is wrong.
i own a 1982 series 3 and have 285/75/16 insta turbo tyres on it. they are fitted to 16/8 modulars but seem to be rubbin on the inside when off roading. im just woundering that if i fit 16/10 offset wheels will that solve my problem.
cheers

Personally I think those tyres are wrong on a series. Get yourself some good 750/16 tyres and they won't rub and still be awesome in the mud:)

op 16/8 not that is should be written like that, means 162 diameter and 8" wide. It has nothing to do with the offset.

16x10 would mean 16" diameter and 10" wide. Again this has nothing to do with the off set.

Would changing the offset help? Maybe, depends what part of the wheel/tyre is rubbing and on what.

the tyre seems to be rubbing on the inner wing. i was thinking of putting on wheel spacers but after reading up on them they seem to be a bad idea.
