Wheel won't come off!

Got a flat, can't get the bleddy wheel off any ideas? Currently by the side of the road.

Did you get the nuts off?

Half loosen nuts and top and bottom alternative clouts on tyre with club hammer - on rim if you have a chunk of wood - rotate a bit, repeat - the aim is to rock it ....
leave the nuts on til is's free just in case ...

Maybe loosen nuts off a tad, drive back and forth slowly whilst turning lock to lock?

If the above does not work or you do not have a big clouty think to hand, then at your own risk put the nuts back on leaving them slightly loose, drop the car on the floor and slowly drive the car a few feet , with a little steering input.

See if that loosens the wheel on the hub.

Wheel probably stuck to the hub with corrosion? Two possibles;
1) Jack the wheel off the ground, wedge the wheel on the opposite corner, loosen the nuts and whack the tyre (not the rim) while spinning it.
2) fix the puncture while the wheel is still on the vehicle with a plug. (I keep a plug kit in my car for such an emergency).

I take it you have alloys fitted undo nuts then hit kick each side in turn failing that can you wedge anything between tyre and chassis and small amount of lock then try other side. Had a real battle with mine not to long ago but it was nuts corroded to the rim so all wheels off a good clean and copper grease so all sorted. where abouts are you at this moment as could possibly help

go for the driving method. loosen the nuts and then drive down the road carefully until you feel/hear it come loose. then immediately stop.

Presumably you got this sorted?

As some have said, loosen the nuts drive forward a couple of feet then brake, dive back and then brake.
Put a light smear of copper grease or molly slip on the hub and nuts when you put the wheel back.
When you have time free the others off, at a time of your choosing, things like this will always choose the worst possible moment.

Yes thank you legends sorry I took ages to give thanks. I love in a beach, they were oxidised on, lots of welly got them off.
