Evening Chaps,

I’m purchasing a wide track kahn defender ( I hope this doesn’t offend true defender owners) and wanting to put some deep dish steels on instead.

The offset is -32 (negative32) and I was going to put some 265/75/16 tyres on too.

I know this will overhang the arch, yet with the wide track kit fitted (not spectre) does anybody know if this will still fit in the parameters.

Thank you guys.

Apologies Neilly I was rushing posting.

I wanted to make sure they would run flush or stay inside the wide track arch, and not overhang like a monster truck.

Thanks

Looking at pictures of the kahn it it does not look like it is much wider than the standard arches. The "eyebrows" do not look protrude as much as standard ones so the whole wing is made wider but the overall width may not be that much over standard. It certainly does not look to be as much as if extended standard arches were fitted.
What do you mean by deep dish steels. With an idea of what size/spec wheel and tyre you are hoping to fit, should be able to tell you if it will fit on a standard model and if not how much they would overhang. If you know how much additional width the Kahn kit gives you (could not immediately find any details on a quick google) you could then work out if they would fit with that.

I've got 265/75/16 on a set of wheels with ET20 offset, no spacers, they fit just nicely within the arches. I don't think the khan arches are much wider if any than the 'eyebrow' arches
If your offset is -32, you might be pushing it...

Im offended. Those kahn wide arches are horrendous and belong in the depths of hell will nazis and fritzle.
I'm not sure they are that bad, I don't like them either but think once they are covered in mud, tree scratches and have the obligatory farmers wing dents they will probably not look too bad and wont be as noticeable. Of course, if the plan is to never use the land rover as a land rover and keep is shiny and polished for the school run then I agree with you :D:D

Jesus you lot are brutal, bastards, haha.

Any who, see the attached pic.

Steel Mods ET-32 with 265 tyres

I assume it will over hang a little, anyone idea how much. Please don’t over exaggerate no matter how offended you are, just after an idea lads.

Appreciated

I have the +8mm modular wheels form paddocks fitted with 265/75/16 BFG AT's. These are still inside the standard archs and could move out slightly before they sat proud. If I moved my wheels out by 40mm they would sit outside the archs, so I am guessing that yours will be as well with the large negative offset

Apparently they do both.

Decided against a Kahn.

Picture attached, believe it’s classier (thoughts are my own)
